We do not buy for resale
We act as a commercial representative. Invoicing is issued directly by the manufacturer to the customer.
We carry out the commercial work of the brand in the Portuguese market, from prospecting and product presentation through to following up orders and the relationship with customers.
We act as an extension of the manufacturer's sales team in the Portuguese market. We carry out prospecting, present the products, follow up with customers and ensure commercial and after-sales follow-through, always in line with the guidelines set by the manufacturer.
Our knowledge of the market allows us to put forward suggestions on prices, opportunities, promotional activity and customer needs, while decisions on prices, commercial terms and strategy always rest with the manufacturer.

The B2B Portal complements the work of our sales team, giving customers a permanent channel of access to the brands and products we represent. At any time, customers can consult products and commercial information, place orders, track their status and review their history. But the Portal goes beyond the purchasing process. It includes tools designed to support customers themselves in selling the products in their own market.

Activity on the Portal allows us to follow customer interest in the different brands and products, from enquiries and interactions through to the orders placed. This information can be analysed by our team and shared periodically with the manufacturer, making it possible to identify products attracting most interest, the most active customers, enquiries that did not result in an order and other signals relevant to guiding commercial follow-up.
The B2B Portal does not replace our sales team. It complements it.
Technology makes information easier to reach and puts new tools in customers' hands, while prospecting, negotiation, follow-up and the relationship with the market continue to be handled by the R. Mota team.
Our commercial activity covers mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores, addressing as well the commercial and logistical particularities of the island markets.
Three principles that define the relationship between manufacturer, R. Mota and customer.
We act as a commercial representative. Invoicing is issued directly by the manufacturer to the customer.
The manufacturer sets prices, terms and commercial guidelines. R. Mota follows the market, identifies opportunities and carries out the commercial work in line with those guidelines.
Customers developed under the representation form part of the manufacturer's own commercial customer base, and the manufacturer retains access to the corresponding information. R. Mota ensures local contact and follow-up with those customers.
We avoid representing directly competing brands within the same range, protecting the commercial focus of each representation.
